EXIFer Pro is built for professional evidence capture and metadata stamping. All processing stays on your device—we do not collect, store, share, sell, or transmit personal information.
Information we do not collect
EXIFer Pro contains no trackers, analytics, or data collection tools.
- Personal information (name, contact, address)
- Photos, videos, audio, or metadata
- Location or GPS data
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, advertising IDs)
- Contacts, calendars, messages, or files
- Analytics, diagnostics, or crash reports
- Network or browsing activity
- Payment data (handled by Apple)
No user data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.
On-device processing only
Capturing media, generating timestamps, embedding metadata, and packaging evidence bundles all occur entirely on your device.
Your data leaves your device only when you explicitly export or share it.
No third-party SDKs or tracking
- No advertising SDKs
- No analytics SDKs
- No profiling or tracking technologies
- No data collection tools of any kind
User-controlled storage
Any artifacts you create remain only where you choose to save them:
- Your device photo library
- Your Files app or iCloud Drive
- External storage you manually export to
- Email or share targets you explicitly select
MidState never has access to your media or evidence files.
Security and children's privacy
Because data never leaves your device, privacy is protected by design. EXIFer Pro includes no online features or in-app accounts and is safe for users of any age, though it is built for professional adult use.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy for legal or technical reasons. Updates will be posted within the app or on our website, and the effective date will always be displayed above.
